Glanusk Estate is a stunning, privately owned estate located in the Usk Valley, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It stands as one of the largest privately owned estates in Wales. Motorhome and camping pitches are available and come with a brand new shower block with charging points, heated floor, Wi-Fi, recycling and waste area and all just metres from your pitch. The area is private, surrounded by nature and most importantly just a walk from the start line.

Located just minutes from the start line, The Dragon Ride camping is available Saturday and Sunday night. This is the most convenient way to organise your accommodation for the weekend. The site will include showers, toilets, full security and access to power for phone charging. Both tent and motorhome/caravan pitches are available.

Camping for both sites:

  • 1 – 2 people – £30 per night
  • 3 – 4 people – £40 per night
  • Caravan/Motorhome – £40 per night

How to get there

Dragon Ride will be based at Margam Park, Margam, Port Talbot, SA13 2TJ South Wales.

Margam Park is well used to holding major events such as the Wales Rally GB and British Chnship Mountain Bike races. The park is located right alongside the M4 motorway and is close to the main line railway stations at Port Talbot and Pyle. Port Talbot station is the nearest to the venue, approximately a 25 minute walk away.

Event car parking will be situated within the deer park only a few hundred metres from the start/finish area, the spacious eastern area of the park will accommodate a more expansive start facility in order to reduce waiting times for riders to get underway.

There are also several attractions on site for family members attending the ride such as the “Go Ape” zip wire, adventure playground, fantasy land and mountain bike hire.
