A Design Rooted in Heritage

This year, we wanted to create more than just a piece of hardware; we wanted to give you a piece of history. Moving away from traditional Bronze Age metalwork, the 2026 medal is inspired by the Dara Knot.

To the ancient Celts, this intricate interlacing represents the roots of sacred trees. It is a symbol of inner strength, endurance, and resilience – the exact attributes required to conquer the Dragon.
