2026 Reversed Routes REVEALED

For 2026, we are introducing the reversed route. This year, we’ve flipped the script on the UK’s most iconic sportive, offering a completely different perspective on the legendary climbs of South Wales.

By reversing the flow, we’ve transformed the rhythm of the day, creating a brand-new experience that will challenge your pacing, your technical skills, and your grit. You’ll also experience the same spectacular views the pro peloton will face during the 2027 Tour de France Grand Départ along the route of Stage 3 from Welshpool > Cardiff.

Reversing the route completely alters the "story" of your ride. The landmarks you know so well: The Bwlch, Rhigos, and the Devil’s Elbow, will look and feel entirely different as you approach them from the opposite side.

  • Earlier Hurdles: Iconic peaks that usually signal the end of your day will now test your resolve in the opening chapters.
  • Fresh Perspectives: Experience the sweeping descents and Alpine-style hairpins from a new viewpoint.
  • Tactical Resets: Your previous pacing strategies? Throw them out. The 2026 Reverse Route demands a total rethink of how you tackle the elevation.

Registered 2026 riders can find their GPX files in their email inbox.
