Emily spends her time juggling training, her job and her PhD in Exercise Metabolism! A busy woman using training as her mental saviour. She started swimming young, then quit and did nothing for years before being introduced to triathlon in 2017! Though with a fear of open water, it took a while to get out of pool-based triathlons and into open water! She now can’t get enough and specialises in endurance swimming, thriving of the mental challenge! Her preferred swim distance is 10,000m and triathlon distance is 70.3.
