We’ve teamed up with local gal and Kingston Wheeler’s Super Woman, Liane Jackson, who can often be found smoking the boys on climbs and booking her next flight to take on the mountains.

We met Liane at L’Etape du Tour 2019 and we were blown away by her knowledge, skill and determination. We were keen to get the inside scoop on all the tips and tricks to tackle climbs, as well as cycling abroad and general training for rides here in the UK.

Having started in the mountain bike scene, Liane bought her first road bike in 2015, and entered her first sportive 2 years later. Since, Liane takes on major climbs and endurance challenges all for fun (we would say she’s mad, but we are in fact slightly (very) jealous).

Liane is a force to be reckoned with, and has built up a respectable cycling CV; she’s placed second at L’Etape Morocco, qualified for a Championship place for L’Etape du Tour 2020, as well as completing her leadership qualification and investigating the HSBC Breeze scene – all this and she’s just getting started.
